The webpage includes pre-release documentation and is subject to change in future releases but still has quite a bit of information. I see this as a good sign that Microsoft will continue to fully support Windows Home Server Code Name Vail.

    Regardless of the allusion to a 250-year-old character (he was actually sheltered from the real world from the start) I will continue to support Windows Home Server Code Name Vail and look forward to the new beta. The new features far outweigh the extra work I will have to do for any workaround for the missing DE. I know everything will work out All for the Best.
