The Verge claims to have heard from an  inside source that the so-called Nokia EOS will sport similar camera specs to  the 808 PureView, which featured a 41-megapixel snapper.

The new handset is said to be coated in aluminium, rather than plastic, giving it a more premium  look and feel than Nokia’s Lumia Windows Phone line.

Nokia is also rumoured to be refreshing its Lumia line with an aluminium-bodied model of the  Lumia 920 and a new mid-range addition to the range.

The report also claims the Nordic phone-maker is building  its own Windows RT tablet for release in the coming months.

Nokia’s new hardware is expected to be unveiled at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona next month.
