Asus Unveils The Transformer AiO All-in-one PC

Asus has unveiled its Transformer AiO hybrid device. The all-in-one PC runs the Windows 8 operating system and features a detachable screen that doubles as a standalone Android tablet.

Powered by an Intel processor, the touchscreen device comes with a GeForce GT730 graphics card, 2GB DDR3 RAM and up to 2GB of SATA storage on board.

The removable 18.4-inch Full HD IPS display is powered by its own Nvidia Tegra 3 quad-core processor and runs the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean mobile operating system.

However, the device is considerably heavy, with the tablet alone weighing in at 5.29 pounds and the PC Station weighing 9 pounds.

Connectivity options include four USB 3.0 and one USB 2.0 ports as well as HDMI, Bluetooth 4.0 and 802.11a/b/g/n WiFi.
