Activision will introduce in-game purchases to Black Ops 2 starting tomorrow (13th March), it has been revealed. Dubbed “Micro-Items”, the optional “luxury” items will be rolled out to Xbox 360 customers, alongside free access to the Nuketown 2025 map.
Each pack will contain different items aimed at “enhancing the online experience”, according to Activision’s Dan Amrich.
Personalisation Packs, for example, contain a weapon camo, three targeting reticles and a custom player Calling Card.
Costing 160 Microsoft Points each (£1.36 / $2), one of the Personalisation Packs wraps your weapon in bacon.
Players will also be able to purchase additional slot packs – opening up more Create-A-Class slots and media storage for Theatre mode – as well as flag packs, which contain flag-themed Calling Cards.
Users can also download Nuketown Zombies map for 400 Microsoft Points (£3.40/$5).
