NETGEAR has announced two new cable modems with built-in AC or N routing capabilities at CES 2014.  These devices are intended to unify your cable modem and router to streamline your network, are DOCSIS 3.0 devices and are certified to work with the major US cable internet providers.  Here is the press release:
