Ubisoft recently took me to Paris to look at Far Cry 4 – and in this interview I talk with Creative Director Alex Hutchinson.
Far Cry 4 is an open-world, first-person shooter that delivers the most expansive and immersive Far Cry experience ever. Players find themselves in Kyrat, a breath-taking, perilous and wild region in the Himalayas struggling under the regime of a despotic self-appointed king. Using a vast array of weapons, vehicles, and animals, players will write their own story. For the first time ever, with Guns for Hire, players can invite a friend or AI companion to join them in the exotic open world, providing an exponential expansion of possibilities.
Far Cry 4 takes you to Kyrat, a mountainous paradise nestled in the Himalayas. Torn apart by civil war where the Kyrati people, led by the Golden Path, fight to take the power back from Pagan Min’s dictatorship.

Far Cry 4 will be available worldwide on November 18th 2014 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC.
