The UK’s biggest auction of entertainment memorabilia is taking place at London’s BFI IMAX this September, with the items on offer expected to fetch in excess of £1 million.
The free exhibition which will be open from the 9th September until the day of auction, will see some of the most coveted props revealed alongside 250 others.
Items going on display in the exhibition will include an original Stormtrooper Helmet from The Empire Strikes Back, Leonard Nimoy’s Spock Costume from Star Trek, Christopher Reeve’s Superman Tunic and Frank Bullitt’s License Plate from Steve McQueen’s classic Bullitt. These items will all be featured in the auction itself on the 23rd September, as well as other historic props and costumes used by Hollywood mega-stars such as Arnold Schwarzenegger, Hugh Jackman, Johnny Depp and Pierce Brosnan as James Bond.
Over 450 iconic lots will be sold at Prop Store’s Entertainment Memorabilia Live Auction on the 23rd of September at the BFI IMAX, proudly presented by ODEON, in London, Waterloo – the auction will also be live-streamed online at propstore.com/liveauction for fans to track the bidding on auction day.
Prop Store’s Entertainment Memorabilia Live Auction, will take place at the BFI IMAX together with ODEON, London Waterloo (1 Charlie Chaplin Walk, London SE1 8XR) on Wednesday 23rd September at 2pm. Auction items will be on display at a free exhibition open to the public at the BFI IMAX, Waterloo, London, England SE1 8XR from 9th – 23rd September 2015.
