HP are releasing a free Add-In for Windows Home Server called the HP MediaSmart Expander for TiVo.

I am fortunate that Andrew Edney had the 3.0 Upgrade Disks sent to me for my EX485. This article is in three videos (21 minutes total) that show the start to finish 3.0 upgrade on a MSS EX485.

A few days ago we reported that HP had released an update patch on their website for owners of the HP MediaSmart and DataVault Windows Home Servers. That patch is now available to download and install from the Windows Home Server console.

HP appears to have released an update for the HP MediaSmart servers, including the DataVault.

This week saw the long anticipated and promised release of the HP MediaSmart Server 3.0 software update for Windows Home Server. I upgraded both my EX475 and my EX487 to see how easy it was. And I had some really annoying problems that you might want to be aware of!

Further to our post earlier in the week, HP are now shipping the MediaSmart Server 3.0 Update.

Today HP finally announced the availability of the long promised HP MediaSmart Server 3.0 Update for owners of the EX480/475/485 and 487 MediaSmart Servers.
