To celebrate the release of Babylon The Complete Series on DVD, we are giving three lucky winners the chance to win it on DVD.
BABYLON is the razor-sharp TV comedy series created by Oscar winner Danny Boyle (Slumdog Millionaire, 127 Hours) that takes a wry look at the people and politics of London’s police force. From BAFTA winning writers Sam Bain (The Thick Of It, Peep Show) and Jesse Armstrong (The Thick Of It, Four Lions), don’t miss BABYLON: THE COMPLETE FIRST SERIES as it comes to DVD on 9th March 2015, courtesy of Entertainment One.
This slick black comedy features some of the UK’s most celebrated talent including: James Nesbitt (The Missing,The Hobbit trilogy) as Metropolitan chief constable Richard Miller; Brit Marling (Another Earth, Arbitrage) as American PR consultant Liz Garvey; Paterson Joseph (Peep Show, Law and Order UK) as figurehead Charles Inglis; Adam Deacon (Kidulthood, Adulthood) as Territorial Support Group officer Robbie; and Daniel Kaluuya (Welcome to the Punch, Kick-Ass 2) as documentary filmmaker Matt Coward, who is filming a documentary on the Metropolitan police force.
The Metropolitan police are in need of a major public image revamp and Chief Constable Richard Miller (Nesbitt) thinks he’s found just the right person for the job. Liz Garvey (Marling) is hired, a visionary from the world of new media and the woman tasked with revolutionising the force’s image. But her job couldn’t have come at a worse time, as an outbreak of chaos and violence erupts in the capital. At the same time documentary film maker Matt Coward is shadowing Territorial Support Group officers including Robbie (Deacon) and plans to expose footage that will stun the public and the police force.
