This week saw Microsoft release an upgrade to the beta of Security Essentials, its virus and spyware protection software.

This version has been in beta for a little while now, and I have been running it successfully.

Today saw Microsoft release an upgrade to Security Essentials, its virus and spyware protection software.


The upgrade isn’t showing in Windows Update yet, or from the check updates section within the software, so if you want to upgrade now you will have to visit the website and download the latest version.
