Nintendo will discontinue a number of Wii channels and services in June, the company has announced.

D3Publisher (D3P), a publisher and developer of interactive entertainment software, today announced that The Croods: Prehistoric Party!, inspired by the DreamWorks Animation SKG animated film, The Croods, is now available on Wii console, Wii U console, Nintendo 3DS system and Nintendo DS system, following the theatrical release of the film.

Ubisoft have just announced they are developing a game based on The Smurfs 2 film.

Disney Infinity has been delayed until August at the request of retailers, it has been announced. Originally due to be released in June, the game has been pushed back until 18th August in North America and 20th August in Europe. A June launch had originally been planned to coincide with the release of Pixar movie Monsters University.

Activision have released a teaser for their Wreck-It Ralph game, which launches tomorrow in the UK for the Nintendo Wii, Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo DS.

Yesterday there was rumours concerning a new form factor of the Wii console seem to be right on the money according to Best Buy Canada, who’ve slapped the recently-leaked micro-console with a December 7th release date in a front page banner.
